I was enjoying the campaign until it crashed. Right-click Modern Warfare 3 from your list of games. I am hoping my $70 purchase can be justified when I'm able to experience the full game. Alternatively, you can also use the tried-and-tested method of verifying the integrity of your game’s files instead: Head to your Steam library. There are some resources that have helped other people, but I still suffer from this one HUGE bug (and many others, see below). I have operators in the multiplayer menu that are unlocked by campaign progress to prove it.
I had gotten all the way to mission 12 (Dark Water), and when the scene changed, my game crashed and I found out the hard way that my campaign progress NEVER SAVED. I was grinding the campaign this last week, sat down for over 3 hours to play. From firewall permissions, to read and write permissions, even verifying game file and reinstalling to NVIDIA GPU driver roll-backs. I posted this on another thread, hoping this will add to it.
